We recommend scheduling that first “meet and greet” with our team once those first baby (primary) teeth have started to make an appearance, usually around their first birthday.

We get to monitor how those little teeth are coming in, and you get some helpful tips for cleaning those tiny gums and new teeth. It’s a win-win.

So, when you’re talking about the upcoming visit, keep it simple and positive. You might say something like:
- “We get to go on a special trip to the place where we keep our smiles healthy and strong!”
- “The dentist is a friendly helper who counts your teeth and makes sure they’re growing just right.”
- “You’ll get to ride in a cool chair that moves!”
Keep any scary details out of it. Words like “drill,” “shot,” or even “pain” don’t need to be part of the conversation. We’ll handle all the rest.
What You Can Expect at Fuller Dental
